Our aim is to rediscover the original winemaking craft, with no sophistication in order to express its purity and our culture and pride of being Italian.

We are craftsmen. The vineyards and cellar worker are the same who welcome visitors and guests, we are led by passion relying on our history and pioneering techniques.

We create “beyond-contemporary” wines, where tradition and innovation are tied, wines projected into the future but with a solid bond with the past.

Extra Vergine dalle Olive della nostra Tenuta

Its green color with warm golden yellow tones, and its perfect clarity, represent the ideal setting for complex aromas olive oil, reminding artichoke and officinal herbs. Elegant and balanced taste with bitter and spicy notes.
Thanks to its territorial characteristics Tenuta Il Poggiolo decided to produce his oil, in harmony with the landscape and area’s traditions. This olive oil is obtained from classic varieties like Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo and with the most modern mining and quarrying techniques. We consider the past, looking into the future.
