Our goal is to give a full immersion into our wine-world, amaze you with the landscape and take care of your taste with wines paired with very special food.

The tasting room is quite unique: it used to be a helicopter hangar, now it can welcome 40 people inside likewise outside and is connected to the winery by an underground tunnel.

The visit normally lasts around 2 hours and is organized in three different phases:

Tasting

The final moment is the wine tasting, where wine meets the best products from the Food Valley: Prosciutto Crudo, Culatello, Parmigiano and our own production extra-virgin olive oil.

Hangar

Tasting room is located in the old helicopter hangar (410 m s.l.m.).

Lake

In Tenuta il Poggiolo we have a wonderful lake too. Take a walk on the shore.

This winery was amazing! The beautiful view was even better than expected. The employees of the vineyard were incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and treated us like old friends. Mattia spent 4 hours with us explaining the wine, the food, the vineyard, and the area. I absolutely recommend going there. The wines were good (9 tastings!).

Really nice experience!

Cantina Il Poggio is a beautifully located winery. Got to taste 7 wines. They had all the time for us. Really friendly people. We also got to try parmezan cheese, ham and olives. Highly recommended for a visit!

Great wine! Great people!

Filippo was great! And entertaining. The wines were fabulous, especially the Il Poggio. A few bottles came home in our luggage. The food was also very good. We were a little late, but they hung with us for over 2 hours talking wine, Italy, and whatever else, until the next group came - also late. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely wine, great time and an amazing host!

6/5 if I could! Beautiful scenery. Really good wine for all tastes! Lucas was really friendly yet took the time to explain everything, share his passion and answer all our questions (boy we had a lot of them ... 🙈). It was a really nice experience! Would do it all again in a heartbeat if I’m come back near Parma.
