Wine Description
Vedova Nera is a sparkling rosé made from 100% Barbera, crafted using the traditional bottle-fermentation method.
Unlike the Martinotti/Charmat method, this technique results in finer, more elegant, and delicate bubbles.
Its vibrant pink color, obtained exclusively from the pressing of the grapes, releases aromas of red citrus fruits like blood orange and grapefruit, harmoniously blended with typical notes of wild berries such as blackberry and grapefruit.
The presence of the yeasts further enriches the bouquet with pastry-like aromas: bread crust, tart, and brioche.
Fresh, light, and pleasantly inviting, Vedova Nera is the perfect companion for summer afternoons, making it hard to resist another glass.

Food Pairings
It pairs beautifully with 24-month aged Parma Ham but also complements any kind of aperitif. Its true excellence, however, shines when accompanied by a good pizza!
