More specifically, we created this format for anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion in an unforgettable way, in a one-of-a-kind setting, nestled in the heart of our winery, Cantina Il Poggio, among french oak barrels.

Guided winery tour
Start your journey with a guided tour (on foot or by our golf cart) through our vineyards and the winemakign area. Learn about our story, our production philosophy, and the secrets behind every bottle. It’s the perfect way to prepare your senses for what’s to come.
Welcome aperitif with breathtaking views
After the tour, you’ll reach our panoramic terrace—normally filled with wine tourists, but on this occasion, it’s just for you. Two lounge chairs, a welcome glass of wine, and an unforgettable sunset over the vineyard. What else?
Private tasting dinner in the barrel room
The experience continues with a private gourmet dinner among our french oak casks, prepared by Chef Nicola Carlucci—ALMA-trained and AIS-certified sommelier.
The menu is customized based on your tastes and built around seasonal ingredients, personally selected by the chef (who knows each of his producers and suppliers). Each course is designed to perfectly complement the wines served.
Exclusive atmosphere
Dinner takes place in a private area of the cellar, surrounded by wooden barrels and the aroma of wood. This natural setting makes every detail more evocative. Our staff will present each wine pairing, while the chef introduces his dishes and the creativity process and research behind them.

From the welcome to the last glass, everything was simply perfect. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Alessandra, kind and well-prepared, who took us on a tour of the estate aboard a golf cart, telling us the history and philosophy of the place, immersing us right away in the magic of the vineyard.With immense emotion, we discovered we were the very first to experience the “romantic visit and tasting with private chef”… an honor we will never forget 🥹
After a welcome aperitif on the panoramic terrace, with a delicious rosé wine and a breathtaking view, we were guided to the cellar, where we learned about the production process before getting to the heart of the evening: the romantic dinner, among the barrels.
The atmosphere was unique: intimate, curated in every little detail, with soft background music that made everything feel even more special.

Who is Chef Nicola Carlucci
Chef Nicola Carlucci is a private chef and certified AIS sommelier.
From Abruzzo, Nicola trained at ALMA – The International School of Italian Cuisine – and the CBT Lab.
His cooking style blends the flavours of his homeland and adopted region (Emilia) with a touch of modern culinary art.
Specializing in modern techniques and seasonal products, Nicola crafts dishes that tell stories, striking a perfect balance between flavour, aesthetics, and wine pairings.
Personally, every time I’ve tasted one of his creations, the flavours exploded in my mouth, and my taste buds could detect every ingredient in perfectly balanced harmony. And the pairing with wine? The final, perfect touch.
This is fine food and wine at its best.
